An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Adult Registered Nurse to join our friendly team on MAU and OPAU  (Ward D1 and D2 ) as a staff nurse. We are a 24 and 22 bedded acute assessment unit specialising in acute medicine, frailty and emergency admissions. It’s a great and interesting time to join our fast paced, thriving team.

We are looking for a highly motivated nurse who wishes to contribute to our vision of providing compassionate nursing care. We are seeking to recruit nurses who can make a difference with their dedication, expertise, compassion and inspiring leadership skills.

Main duties of the job

You will be required to work shift patterns but we are happy to discuss this with you, and also have a conversation about part-time working if that suits your personal circumstances. We have a separate process for newly qualified nurse recruitment and are seeking applications from nurses who have sufficient post-registration working experience.

The Acute Adult Care Division is one of four Clinical Divisions in the Trust that includes Emergency Care, Complex Care and Specialist Medicine. The Division contains the busiest single site Emergency Department in Greater Manchester and has inpatient wards providing acute medicine, rehabilitation and specialist medicine services.  It provides a range of specialist out-patient and community services and is committed to providing excellent clinical performance and patient care. Our teams are fully multi-disciplinary and you can always expect a warm, friendly, and welcoming working environment.
